📚 The Journey Behind the Magic

Born in Zamboanga City in 1995, Mac’s passion for storytelling and performance began early. He graduated cum laude from Silliman University with a degree in Mass Communication, later deepening his craft through a global communication program at Hannam University in South Korea. There, he honed his skills in multimedia production, global storytelling, and cultural communication — building the foundation for his hybrid path as a magician, advocate, and creative.

🌱 Advocate. Founder. Changemaker.

Mac is not just a performer — he’s an advocate. As the founder of Food Rescue Philippines, he has helped rescue thousands of kilos of surplus food, turning potential waste into meals for underserved communities.

Inspired by Boulder Food Rescue during his YSEALI fellowship, Mac mobilized volunteers on bikes to pick up unsold food from donors and redistribute it sustainably. This initiative later expanded into other projects, including:

GAMIT RESCUE — a movement that redistributes unused or underused items to those in need.
AI RESCUE — his newest initiative aimed at using AI literacy to fight educational inequality and build more informed, empowered communities.

Through these efforts, he’s not only combating hunger and waste — he’s redefining what it means to be a modern Filipino changemaker.
