CVAP WEEK 3: PRACTICE, PRACTICE, AND PRACTICE WELL!

Updated: Oct 11, 2020

DISTANCE LEARNING.

I was a little busy doing errands doing Session 3 but I still tried my best listening to the lessons. I got to practice tongue twisters while riding on a bike, while walking, and while in a car - this also has been one advantage of the new normal of learning, distance learning, you can always learn while multitasking or wherever you are in the world as long as you have mobile data or internet. Though I wouldn’t always recommend it as it divides your focus and attention. It could be dangerous especially when you are on the road.

NEW GROUP and ACTIVITIES

I missed one part/activity in this session as my phone battery was dying. Voicemates had an activity where they had to write a script and everyone must do one or more parts. I was able to listen some of the groups and it would have been fun if I was able to participate. Next session’s activity is live dubbing with a new breakout group and I am excited for that – both activity and new groupmates.

Q&A with Voiceover Flowers

At the end of the session, we got the chance to ask and listen to questions and answers with the one and only Voiceover Flowers Kathleen Sone. It was inspiring listening to her humble beginnings. She has really become an inspiration to many aspiring voice artists in the country these days. That is one of the important values to sustain the program – for us to inspire as how we have been inspired.

I am looking forward for the last few remaining activities and lessons. I will surely miss this program. But of course, my voice artist journey shouldn’t end here. I look forward to more activities, more people to meet and especially more learnings and lessons to apply in voice acting and other aspects of life.
